November 29, 2023 Kaivalyadhama Lonavala welcomed Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu
for its Centenary Celebrations, highlighting the significance of Yoga and its legacy.
In 21 Augugst 2025, Shri Subodh Tiwari presented Kaivalyadhama’s Centenary Coffee Table Book to
Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi, celebrating 100 years of scientific Yoga.
We were deeply privileged to have Hon’ble Shri Ram Nath Kovind as the Chief Guest for the esteemed Swami Kuvalayananda Yoga Puruskar 2024, held on 18 September 2024.
Mr. Vidyut Dev Singh Jammwal—renowned actor, martial artist, and producer—to Kaivalyadhama. A dedicated practitioner of Kalaripayattu, he embodies strength, discipline, and spiritual depth—qualities rooted in India’s timeless yogic and martial traditions June 14, 2026,
Hon’ble Shri Devendra Fadnavis ji, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, to discuss strengthening the promotion of yoga and advancing the proposed Maharashtra Yoga Commission.
The meeting also focused on exploring opportunities to organise a yoga event in Telangana, reflecting a shared commitment to expanding the reach and impact of yoga across the region.

Being born at Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala—a place deeply rooted in Yoga and spirituality—was a blessing. His father, Shri O.P. Tiwari, was a disciple of Swami Kuvalayananda, the founder of Kaivalyadhama.

A Childhood Rooted in Yoga
Born in the yogic atmosphere of Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala, I began my yogic journey at the age of six under the guidance of my father, Dr. O. P. Tiwari.
Sharing the Wisdom of Yoga
After completing my training, I began teaching Yoga in 1993, deepening my understanding through practice, teaching, and continued learning.
Serving Kaivalyadhama
In 1997, I chose to dedicate my life to the service of Kaivalyadhama and its vision of bringing Yoga and modern science together.
Yoga, Leadership & Impact
Today, my work continues across Yoga education, research, leadership, and wider initiatives that help take the wisdom of Yoga to communities in India and around the world.

In March 1997, he decided to dedicate his life completely to Kaivalyadhama and its mission.
2001 — National & International
Asian Vegetarian Conference
Participated in the organising committee of the First Asian Vegetarian Conference in Goa and conducted a practical session on Yoga and Meditation.
2002–2004
Deepening Yogic Knowledge
Advanced Pranayama: Completed an advanced course in Pranayama while continuing his involvement in conferences, education and other Yoga-related initiatives.
2003–2010
Building Organisational Foundations
Served as In-charge Administrative Officer at K.S.M.Y.M. Samiti, taking on increasing administrative and institutional responsibilities.

Expanding Institutional Responsibility
Was appointed Trustee of Kaivalyadhama ICYHC, Mumbai.
