A Life Dedicated to Yoga & Service

A Childhood Rooted in Yoga

Born in the yogic atmosphere of Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala, I began my yogic journey at the age of six under the guidance of my father, Dr. O. P. Tiwari.

Sharing the Wisdom of Yoga

After completing my training, I began teaching Yoga in 1993, deepening my understanding through practice, teaching, and continued learning.

Serving Kaivalyadhama

In 1997, I chose to dedicate my life to the service of Kaivalyadhama and its vision of bringing Yoga and modern science together.

Yoga, Leadership & Impact

Today, my work continues across Yoga education, research, leadership, and wider initiatives that help take the wisdom of Yoga to communities in India and around the world.

Born at Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala

Born on 24 April 1974 in the yogic and spiritual environment of Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala.

1990 — Formal Yoga Education

Certificate Course in Yoga

Completed the Certificate Course in Yoga at Kaivalyadhama.

1992 — Service & Social Engagement

Best NSS Volunteer

Received the Best NSS Volunteer award during a rural camp.

1993 — From Practitioner to Teacher

Beginning to Teach Yoga

Began teaching Yoga.

1997 — Choosing a Life of Service

Dedication to Kaivalyadhama

In March 1997, he decided to dedicate his life completely to Kaivalyadhama and its mission.

2001 — National & International

Asian Vegetarian Conference

Participated in the organising committee of the First Asian Vegetarian Conference in Goa and conducted a practical session on Yoga and Meditation.

2002–2004

Deepening Yogic Knowledge

Advanced Pranayama: Completed an advanced course in Pranayama while continuing his involvement in conferences, education and other Yoga-related initiatives.

2003–2010

Building Organisational Foundations

Served as In-charge Administrative Officer at K.S.M.Y.M. Samiti, taking on increasing administrative and institutional responsibilities.

2009 — Trustee

Expanding Institutional Responsibility

Was appointed Trustee of Kaivalyadhama ICYHC, Mumbai.

2010

Yoga Therapy & Social Transformation

Presented his work on Yoga Therapy and Yoga for Society and participated as an invited speaker at the International Conference “Yoga and Social Transformation” in Haridwar.
